WORKSHOPS WITH PLAYMOBIL
From Biotop Natura, we offer workshops with Playmobil to talk about various topics that we believe are of great importance and that we want to work on in a fun and experiential way.
We believe that through a diorama made with Playmobil we can bring students of different ages closer and more fun to the recent history of Catalonia and to nature and its current situation, creating reflection and debate among all.
Our story:
Catalonia has a long and rich history. Through the nice Playmobil dolls we can recreate any period of our history where young and old can immerse themselves through time in the diorama and thus understand it in an attractive and exciting way.

Nature and the environment:
Through different Playmobil dioramas on themes related to nature we want to explain the different environmental problems. We seek to create a relaxed and safe environment where students can ask and talk about nature.
Workshops on Nature and the environment with playmobil:
- The senses and communication of plants
- “Hug the trees” movement to protect trees
- Deforestation and climate change
- Forest fires
- First break with our connection with nature. From prehistory to the Neolithic.
- Transformation of our coast.
- Naturalistic versions of our stories: Little Red Riding Hood and the friendly wolf.
- Chipko Movement or Tree Huggers.
Our association, especially dedicated to the preservation of the environment and specifically of forests and trees, focuses some of our environmental dioramas on forests.
FORESTS ARE THE SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM
Currently, we find ourselves in a very complex climate situation as a result of climate change.
High temperatures, dry environments, absence of rain for long months, strong hurricane storms, sudden hailstorms…
If we add to climate change the excessive use of resources (energy, water…), the enormous pollution we cause, and the destruction of natural habitats, we find ourselves facing a completely unsustainable situation.
Climate change creates ideal and very favorable conditions for fires, but we must not forget that the forest does not become a fuel if there is no external factor that causes the fire, and this external factor in most cases usually human being.
We believe in a justice system that properly pursues and penalizes this type of crime and fire prevention management that is carried out throughout the year and that takes into account the problem from the root of the problem.
Now fire prevention focuses on the extraction of what they call fuel. That is, in the extraction of wood, which obeys more to industrial interests than to a true interest in solving the problem.
One of the factors to also take into account would be to enhance the rural life of the towns, recovering the work that shepherds do less and less, which is taking their flocks to the forest and meadows. Remunerate their valuable work, which we need so much if we want to control fires, without losing our forests, which are so necessary precisely to combat climate change.
Now we must preserve the trees more than ever!
